Terms and Conditions of Participation

1. Who We Are

By booking or joining a tour you agree to these Terms and Conditions, governed by Portuguese law.

2. Booking

Bookings can be made via our website, email, or WhatsApp. Your reservation is confirmed once payment or written confirmation is received. Maximum group size is 8 guests per tour.

3. Meeting Point & Check-In

All tours depart from Praia dos Arrifes, Albufeira. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for equipment fitting and safety briefing. Late arrivals may forfeit their spot without refund.

4. Participation Requirements

Minimum age is 14 years. By participating you confirm that you:

• Are in good physical health and comfortable in water
• Are not under the influence of alcohol or any substance that impairs coordination
• Have no medical condition that could be aggravated by water sports activity
• Will wear the provided life jacket at all times and follow the guide's instructions

We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who, in the guide's judgement, poses a safety risk.

5. Equipment

All guests receive a SUP board, paddle, leash, life jacket, and waterproof phone pouch. Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was provided — damage caused by negligence will be charged at repair or full replacement cost.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

• More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund.
• Less than 48 hours before departure: Non-refundable, except with a documented medical emergency.
• No-show: No refund.
• Cancelled by us (weather/sea conditions): We'll offer an alternative date or a full refund within 14 days.

7. Weather & Safety

Tours only go ahead when conditions are judged safe by the guide, based on daily IPMA forecasts. The guide's decision is final. If conditions deteriorate mid-tour, the activity may be ended early without refund for the unused portion.

8. Liability

Water sports carry inherent risks. By participating you acknowledge and accept these risks. We hold civil liability insurance through Allianz Portugal as required by law. We are not liable for loss of personal belongings or injury resulting from failure to follow guide instructions or participant negligence.

9. Photography

Photographs may be taken on any of our tours upon request. Our photographer captures images from clifftop positions along the route. You are under no obligation to purchase them. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at check-in. Images used for promotional purposes will only feature guests who have given their consent.

10. Prices

All prices are per person and include VAT (IVA). The price confirmed at booking will always be honoured.

12. Data & Law

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to Portuguese court jurisdiction. For alternative dispute resolution, see our Dispute Resolution page.
